Medicinal Marijuana Program

What is the NYS Medical Marijuana Program?

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

New York State's Medical Marijuana Program allows patients who suffer from designated serious conditions who also have a condition clinically associated with, or a complication of, the serious condition to be certified by their physicians to receive marijuana for medical use. Patients who are certified by their practitioners must apply to the Department to obtain a registry identification card in order to obtain medical marijuana in accordance with any recommendations made by the patient's practitioner.
